interesting facts...

WTL: The “WTL” in our company name stands for the words “way,” “truth” and “life.” Jesus Christ said He is the Way, the Truth and the Life. This is profound. We are named after Him in this sense. Also, we see the Way as the message of the gospel, the Christian way and The Bible, and many of our projects help point others to these and to an understanding of them; we see the Truth as truths about anything that help provide an understanding of life and God’s role in it, and most of our projects are truth projects. Thirdly, we see the Life as a higher plane of life that Jesus died for each of us to realize—good-living and later, an eternity without death and limitations imposed by human sin. There will be a time for that good-living and some projects touch the surface, others lay the foundation upon which the good life will be built. Lastly, we also chose the letters “WTL” because many well-established organizations and institutions have been rooted in Jesus Christ and they are the ones that still stand strong today, even nations, hospitals, universities and publishers. They are the longest-lasting and highest esteemed institutions, and it is no coincidence. We thought it only wise to root ourselves in the same foundation of Christ, naming the business ministry “WTL International.”

Red, white and blue: The red and blue in our logo represent the blood Jesus shed, and the stripes and bruises He bore for all mankind at Calvary for our sins and redemption. The white is for the bread which represents His body which was broken for us.

Rounded edges: The rounded edges on the WTL logo represent that our art is making the hard topics palatable with soft and loving words to balance the hard truths.

Scratch logo: Our “WTL Scratch Logo” is an alternative to our main WTL International logo. It adds a raw, handwritten portion to our standard logo. The handwritten portion was sketched in mere milliseconds on rudimentary, ruled paper once upon a time. This signifies our raw and street edge. We attempt to fill in the gaps left out by traditional Christian society, which hinders delivery of the Gospel with some audiences. We are far from the polished and politically correct face of our foundational inspirations we respect but also strive to complement not copy entirely.

Rainbow splash: The colorful or rainbow touches you might see in some of our designs signify the goodness and vibrance of heaven, reminding our base to keep a heaven-seeking focus. Keep your eyes to the skies and think on godly things as much as possible.

WTL Hot Cakes: Some products were created just to sell like hot cakes, demonstrating creativity that moves people and makes the human phenomena of trends. The term “WTL Hot Cakes” is reserved for our products which do exceptionally well.

Jacob’s Black Logo: Our special black and brown logo was named the “Jacob’s Black Logo.” We put it on some products in the spirit of a Bible story that features Jacob (who became Israel). Dark prized commodities in recorded history include: oil; prized livestock; hardwood timber; coffee; cocoa; chocolate; Coca Cola!; and diamonds (formed from black coal). Jacob was a herder who was known as a trickster. The Bible says he once told his father-in-law, who he worked for, that he would take his pay in the form of all the dark and dark-marked livestock that were born. This sounded like a good offer to his boss, but Jacob used a faith miracle and wrapped in his trickery to get the dark, dark-spotted, and dark-streaked livestock to outbreed the white livestock. History tells that, in fact, he actually became a very rich man in livestock and in all things the proceeds from this could buy. The logo is a symbol of good fortune and faithful roots and we’ve even tested it out!
