Why use bottom engine?
Bottom Engine helps by providing exposure to some of the best books out there. Each book is quite fantastic, and the list is short, so you don’t have to spend all your time perusing through lists that never end—bottomless search engines. Furthermore, we provide a collection that would provide wholesome sets of books which plant the right kind of "seeds" in young readers no matter which books among them you choose. Not least, Bottom Engine could help with scrolling fatigue from unwanted visual stimulation, a shopping phenomenon people experience on prestigious but lengthy online book hubs such as Amazon and book publishers.
Does Bottom Engine sell the books it posts directly?
No. It is up to site visitors to purchase books via the retailers at the links provided or to find where the books are sold elsewhere. Bottom Engine is not a retailer and does not make money off the sales of books unless indirectly, as WTL publishes some of the books featured on this website.
How do I purchase a book featured on this site?
Checking the publisher information by clicking on a book cover from our list and finding the publisher's preferences for where to purchase their book is the best way to make a purchase. Direct links are provided where possible.
Questions for Authors
Why bottom engine?
Bottom Engine helps give authors greater exposure that is also affordable. It is an accomplishment to pass the review period and says something notable about the quality of your work.
Do all authors who apply get their books on Bottom Engine?
No. A review process determines an author’s eligibility. In most cases, if a book is denied, it can no longer be considered unless changes have been made to a new edition. Other books by the same author will be welcome for review. For series, generally if one book is accepted, it increases the likelihood the others will be. Two elements of importance for the selection process besides the values conveyed in the book are if it contributes to the body of good literature, and its illustrations are comely.
What does it cost for a book to be considered for posting and to post on Bottom Engine?
The price list can be found on the “For Authors” tab in the menu at the top of the screen. Once approved, an author is prompted to pay for exposure for a period of their choosing. Longer periods constitute higher costs. Once the period is up, an author can always purchase another period of exposure for their previously approved book. This can be done via the For Authors page. Authors can pay a fee to choose on which days their books appear as long as it is available, spaced out and approved.
Does Bottom Engine take a percentage of the sale price?
No. Bottom Engine does not make money off the sales of books enabled trough Bottom Engine nor does its parent company WTL International (except indirectly, if WTL publishes a book that is sold as a result of this venue). This means more income for you as an author.
How do authors get their books posted on Bottom Engine?
If you are an author, your book can be reviewed for inclusion on Bottom Engine through filling out a form on the “For Authors” page. You will be asked to attach a legible image of the front cover plus send in a free review copy of the book. You should know that each title is to be filled out separately if you are seeking to feature multiple titles. Further questions can be directed to ah@wtlipublishing.com.
